The Catskill Mountains Chapter of Trout Unlimited invites you to our 55th Annual Conservation Banquet, 6:00 PM, Saturday, November 2nd, at the Stonehedge Restaurant on Route 9w in West Park, NY.
Our annual banquest is our largest chapter fundraiser for the year. Proceeds from the banquet help fund variety of chapter projects and activities throughout the year. Here are some of the things we’ve done in recent years:
- Removed trash and litter from area streams
- Planted saplings to promote stream bank stability
- Trout-in-the-Classroom program in local schools,
- Monitored the Esopus Creek above the Ashokan Reservoir
- Conducted temperature surveys of area streams
- Protected the Peekamoose Blue Hole on Roundout Creek
- Ran casting demos at local schools and spoke with students about the importance of trout to a healthy ecosystem
- And more!
The evening begins with a cash bar cocktail hour at 6:00 PM and the opportunity to view the raffle buckets and silent auction items. Bucket raffle tickets will be 25 for $20.00 or $1.00 each. Dinner will begin being served at 7:15 PM.
After a brief presentation, we will have drawings for the bucket raffles, announce the winners of our silent auction, and draw winning conservation raffle tickets.. This year’s grand prize raffle is an Orvis rod and reel:

Dinner is $40.00 per person. Please consider an additional donation of $5 per dinner for our conservation fund. The dinner choices are:
Appetizer: Tortellini Alfredo with Green Salad with Vinaigrette dressing
Entree choices:
- Breast of Chicken Francaise
- Baked Filet of Salmon with Herb Crust
- Roast Prime Rib of Beef, Au Jus
- Vegetarian Entrée
All meals will be served with Baked Stuffed Potatoes, and Rolls and Butter.
The evening’s dessert will be layer cake with fruit filling, served with coffee or tea.

Reservations paid in advance will earn five free raffle tickets each at the banquet. Early reservations and confirmations in any form help the chef plan foods.
