Joe is an excellent tyer and member of the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild following Catskill traditions. He will demonstrate a few Bead Head Bloody Mary nymphs. These are considered a searching pattern nymph and very successful when others fail and at this time of year. Come out at 6:15 PM to observe and ask questions for Joe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meeting-<\/strong> The Regular Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM. We will have a brief business meeting early so we can have enough time for our guest speaker Andrew Meyer. Andrew is the Shoreline Conservation Specialist for the NYS DEC\u2019s Hudson River Estuary Program, in partnership with the New York State Water Resource Institute at Cornell University. He works on aquatic connectivity in the tributaries to the Hudson River, watershed outreach, and open space projects relating to the many communities of the Hudson River Estuary. Andrew grew up in Orange County and has a Master\u2019s degree from the University of Colorado. His powerpoint presentation will focus on two projects they have going to identify important dams and culverts, preventing migration for spawning, and try and get them out of our streams.
