A super floating caddis with a low profile in the
\nwater is a deadly combination on creeks. Utilize this pattern
\nin the evenings when the tan caddis returns and mates
\non the water with much success. It floats so well
\nthat it can also be utilized as a strike indicator for
\nweighted nymph droppers doubling your chances
\nto catch trout.<\/p>\n
Zelon Caddis
\nHook\/ size Tiemco 101 dry fly 14-20
\nThread 6\/0 Tan or Olive to match body color
\nUnder Wing Tan Straight Zelon
\nWing Bleached Coastal Deer Hair
\nBody Tan or Olive dubbing<\/p>\n
Tying Instructions
\n1) Attach thread mid shank and wrap towards
\nthe bend of the hook.
\n2) Dub body from bend to 2\/3s of hook shank.
\n3) Attach straight Zelon as under wing to
\nextend slightly beyond the bend of the hook.
\n4) Attach coastal hair over Zelon under wing.
