Of course you do! Buying extra stuff is what we do.

At this month’s meeting, we’ll have a Gear Swap before our business meeting. Swap that extra gear for something useful—or to pick up some good deals on stuff you do need.

Here’s how it works: Bring any extra gear or materials you’d like to sell or trade. A special door prize goes to whoever sells Mike Malloy the most fly rods.

Immediately after our business meeting, Ryan Williams, Art Christensen, Andrew Higgins, and Ted Hoover will demo some of their favorite flies. Ryan, Art, and Andrew will tie some of their most productive Esopus Creek patterns, while Ted will tie a still-water micro-leach that I think would be a killer nymph.

Our tyers will show you how to tie the fly, talk about materials needed for it, and tell you how to fish it most productively.

Residence Inn by Marriott Kingston 800 Frank Sottile Blvd 6:30-8:30 Materials Swap and Fly Tying Demo Got any extra fly fishing gear or tying materials lying about?
